A Two headed snake is one of the rarest of events in the reptile kingdom.

A two-headed snake has surprised the owners of the New York pet store. An Amherst, NY store employee noticed a baby snake was having a hard time getting out of its shell. When she cracked open the rest of the egg, she discovered conjoined twin snakes.

Taking care of a two headed snake as a pet could prove tricky. Special attention should be given specially when feeding them, a head may devour the other head if they see a food on the other snake head’s mouth.

Snake pet owners should take special precautions which includes tying the two together with surgical tape so they don’t try to pull themselves apart.
