16-foot Burmese Python Caught in Florida Everglades

A 16-foot Burmese Python was spotted and killed in the South Florida Everglades. It was later found out that the 16 foot python is in the process of digesting a 76 pound deer. Python expert Skip Snow performed the autopsy on the python after it was killed with a shot gun.

Florida has began a python bounty hunt after the population of wild Burmese pythons exploded in the Everglades.Burmese pythons are becoming the top predators in the Florida Everglades and scientist are worried that it may inter breed with the man eating African rock python which are also present in the area.
